Butter star Jennifer Garner carried her 1-year-old son Samuel while walking hand-in-hand with her 7-year-old daughter Violet after school in Brentwood, Calif. last week. She was later seen taking her 4-year-old daughter Seraphina to karate class.

In a series of adorable photos, the mother-son duo were seen walking hand-in-hand while shopping in Brentwood, Calif.  This marks the first time we’ve seen the sweet tot – who recently celebrated his first birthday on February 27 – taking some steps. What a big boy!
